My most mersyless model
I love to sketch my family members, and my most popular model is my youngest daughter Noa. She got used to my "not always nice" style, I educated her with sentences like "drawing isn't a photograph" and "that's the way I see you". So now she's kind of likes my sketches of her. I have a big collection of her sketches, most of them I use to draw while she was eating. Sharing here some of them :)
Do you use to draw your family members?

Drink helps to draw without mercy :)
One of the best part of the Symposium is Drink&Draw evenings! Eating and drinking and chatting and sketching each other - what can be better? I also think that a "drink" part definitely helps to sketch be looser and merciless. Here are some sketches from these evenings in Barcelona.
Missing you, friends!

And one more portrait of... Inma!
I loved the idea of this blog at first sight! Finally there is a place for my totally "without mercy" portraits! I love sketching people the most. The problem is that I don't know to flatter them, in other words, sometimes I afraid to show them their portraits, that's why sketching strangers is the best!
I have a lot "without mercy" portraits in my sketchbooks, but I can't help myself not showing first... Inma's portrait, of course!
